Uniform

Our governing body has approved a school uniform for the children who will be attending New Longton All Saints’ Primary School.

We feel that it helps children to feel part of the school. It is the governors’ wish that all children wear the uniform for school. The reason for a uniform is pride and for health and safety reasons.

  • Badged – Blue polo shirt or white blouse (uniform style)

  •  Grey shorts/trousers

  • Grey pinafore dress/skirt/trousers

  • Under the knee white or grey socks or grey tights

  • Black sensible shoes (no open toed sandals)

  • Blue / white checked dress can be worn in the Summer Term, (these must be worn with white socks)

  • Badged – Royal blue sweatshirt/ cardigan

  • Badged – Royal blue fleece (optional)

  • Grey socks

  • Black sensible shoes (NOT black trainers or trainer style shoes)

  • P.E./GAMES Indoor – Badged white polo T-shirt, dark blue shorts, black pumps

  • Outdoor – Dark blue shorts and badged white T-shirt as above, dark blue

  • sweatshirt/hoodie (and long jogging bottoms in the winter months) and trainers.

    Hair and Jewellery

    There should be no extremes of hairstyles for examples shaved or braided hair. Long hair should be
    tied back for both boys and girls if the hair touches the shoulders or is longer. Only plain hair
    accessories should be worn. Items of jewellery are not permitted apart from a watch. Children are not
    permitted to wear earrings in school.
