On here you will find a selection of your class’ learning overviews and useful links to support your children with their learning.

PE Days

Our P.E days are Monday and Wednesday. Children should come in to school in their PE kits on these days.

Homework Diaries

Children must bring their homework diary to school every day.  In Year 5, children are expected to read at home daily and can record their own reading in their diary. Regular communication between home and school is generally recorded in these books.

Spellings

Spellings will be sent home on a Monday and will be tested in school on the Friday of that week. Children will be given their spellings on a printed sheet on which they can practice each day. The sheet also includes a challenge question to be completed.

Times Table Rock Stars

Children should practice their times tables using the TTRS app/website. Their login details are stuck inside their homework diaries.

Arithmetic Homework

Children will also be given arithmetic homework every Friday which should be completed for the following Friday. Answers should be written on the sheet.
