Our P.E days are Wednesday and Friday. Children should come in to school in their P.E. kits on these days.
Children must bring their Homework Diary to school every day. They read either Oxford Reading Tree books or colour-banded books, as directed by the teacher. We encourage the children to keep a record of what they have read each day, commenting on their books. Parents are also invited to record comments when they have heard their child read. Once a book is completed, children are generally responsible for changing their book independently. Any additional homework notes will be written in the diary. Parents are encouraged to also use the diary as a communication tool.
Spellings will be sent home on a Monday and will be tested in school on the Friday of the same week.
As a way of sharing children’s work there will be regular updates about what the children have been learning in school on Google Classroom. Children will be able to log on from home and add any work they complete at home.
